Muslims turn to Christ in unprecedented numbers

Muslims are having visions of Christ

God is doing something amazing in our world today.

Syrian refugeesAs I mentioned in an earlier post, Muslims are turning to Christ.  This is especially true of the refugees in Europe.

Although we sometimes forget it, the Good News of salvation through Jesus the Messiah is not only for Christians. He also died on the cross so that Muslims could repent and trust in Him, just as we did.

At last, this Message is getting out of the church building and into the world!  As we did, Muslims are meeting the Messiah through visions and seeking out Christians to find out more about Him.

As His church, we need to be ready to welcome these refugees into our churches, our homes and our hearts.

Pastor James McConnell stands for Muslims, against Islam

Article by Bethany Blankley, Charisma Magazine

Pastor James McConnell

On May 18, 2014 Belfast Pastor James McConnell could not have known that the sermon he preached, “There is but One God,” would lead to his prosecution on two counts for violating Northern Ireland’s Communications Act of 2003.

A guilty verdict carries a punishment of six months in prison and a hefty fine.

In his sermon he called Islam “satanic” and “a doctrine spawned in hell.” He preached that the one true God is not Allah and that Christians are being persecuted for rejecting Islam.

McConnell led Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle Belfast for 57 years. It is now one of the largest evangelical congregations in the U.K.

Muslim refugees from Iran becoming Christians, in droves

God is drawing Muslims to Christ in Germany!

Given their newfound freedom, Iranian refugees are daring to do what would have been unthinkable in their homeland: they are making a decision to follow Christ, and to trust in Him alone for their salvation.

Mohammed Ali Zonoobi bends his head as the priest pours holy water over his black hair. “Will you break away from Satan and his evil deeds?” pastor Gottfried Martens asks the Iranian refugee. “Will you break away from Islam?”

“Yes,” Zonoobi fervently replies. Spreading his hands in blessing, Martens then baptizes the man “in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.”

Mohammed is now Martin — no longer Muslim, but Christian.

Zonoobi, a carpenter from the Iranian city of Shiraz, arrived in Germany with his wife and two children five months ago. He is one of hundreds of mostly Iranian and Afghan asylum seekers who have converted to Christianity at the evangelical Trinity Church in a leafy Berlin neighborhood.
